Performance Improvement Interventions

We provide two types of performance improvement interventions. They are:

Non-Training Interventions

They assist the employees of an organization to improve their performance and perform well at work when the root cause analysis reveals that the lack of motivation, rewards, and incentives are responsible for an existing performance gap. For instance, organizations can provide timely and appropriate feedback, and enhance quarterly bonus for exemplary performance of the employees.

Training Interventions

They assist the employees of an organization to improve their performance and perform well at work when the root cause analysis indicates that the lack of knowledge and skills of the employees are responsible for an existing performance gap. For instance, a food service establishment can incorporate an e-Learning program to train their food service employees with implementing the HACCP principles for food safety to prepare safe and wholesome food.

Instructional Design

Instructional Design is a systematic and systemic process that incorporates various HPT models and adult learning theories to develop educational and training programs to assist the learners to master essential knowledge and hands-on skills in an effective and efficient manner to enhance their performance at work.

We work on Instructional Design projects in collaboration with our clients to provide training interventions, only when a root cause analysis reveals that the lack of knowledge and skills of the employees is responsible for an existing performance gap.

Needs Assessment

Needs Assessment is both a systematic and systemic process that incorporates various HPT models and tools to address existing performance issues and close the gaps to improve the performance of employees at the operational, tactical, and strategic levels.

We work on Needs Assessment projects by working in partnership with our clients to define the performance gap between current and desired performance in measurable terms based on preliminary data analysis. Then, we develop suitable Needs Assessment frameworks using HPT Models to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data collected from multiple sources and various levels of an organization. Finally, we recommend performance improvement interventions by prioritizing them to meet the immediate needs of our clients and close the performance gaps.

Evaluation

Evaluation is a systematic and systemic process of using various evaluation models to evaluate the outcome of both non-training and training performance improvement interventions for their effectiveness and efficiency after they have been implemented. It assists organizations to measure the Return On Investment obtained due to implementing a performance improvement intervention.

We work on both Formative and Summative Evaluation projects in collaboration with our clients to assist them to measure the ROI obtained after implementing various performance improvement interventions.

Blended Learning Solutions

Blended Learning is an effective learning strategy that assists the learners to master the knowledge and hands-on skills required to perform well at work. It involves a blend of various types of learning solutions such as face-to-face training, flipped learning, online training videos, on-the-job training, and participating in a professional Community of Practice to obtain ongoing professional development even after the culmination of a training program to improve workplace performance and perform well at work. E-Learning and M-Learning Solutions

E-learning and M-Learning solutions have gained popularity in recent days as they are self-paced in nature and do not require the learners to take time away from work to attend training. They help to provide just-in-time and on-the-job training in an interactive manner that can be accessed by the learners on their mobile devices. Therefore, they assist the learners to gain mastery over the hands-on skills essential to complete job tasks using real-life work scenarios in a virtual environment.

Inter-generational/Millennial Consulting

Organizations will encounter the challenge of managing five different generations of workers that possess five different personality traits by the year 2020. Inter-generational/Millennial Consulting assists organizations to leverage the strengths of their diverse workforce, instead of dwindling from its weaknesses, to ensure that their employees improve their performance and perform well at work.

Gamification

Gamification is an emerging trend in the HPT arena. It is a systematic process of incorporating game mechanics and human psychology into a serious/non-game environment to challenge the learners by providing hurdles with increased levels of difficulty and reward them with points, badges, and awards for overcoming those challenges during the learning process. Gamification motivates the learners to master the hands-on skills related to various job tasks during training by engaging themselves in the interesting process of playing games based on the learning objectives of a training session.

User Experience/User Interface Design

User Experience/User Interface Design is the process of using appropriate graphics, typography, and colors to transmit information. An effective user experience assists the learners to interact positively with the user interface during the learning process. We collaborate with our clients to design appropriate user interfaces to suit the needs of their learners. For instance, we have provided relevant and related user experience for our clients to assist them to interact positively with the user interface of Huformance Tech Consulting – LLC.

Strategic Coaching for Sustainability

Organizations strive to achieve their strategic business goals and obtain Return On Investment to reap financial benefits. However, organizations also have an obligation to cater to the well-being of both their employees and internal and external clients. They should also protect their surrounding environment from pollution. Finally, they have to develop social responsibility and work for the welfare of the society and community they serve in order to develop into a sustainable organization. We work in partnership with our clients to assist them achieve their strategic business goals, and become environmentally and socially responsible so that they attain sustainability.

Micro Learning

Micro Learning (podcasting in the form of audio and video) is an emerging performance improvement intervention for the rapidly changing workplace. Short videos help employees to master the knowledge and skills essential for performing a specific task, when needed, in the form preferred by them. For instance, we have created a short video to provide “An Overview of Huformance Tech Consulting – LLC” for our future clients. We work with our clients to assist them create and edit videos to meet the needs of contemporary learners.

Writing Services

We collaborate with our clients for assisting them to reflect upon their stories of successful implementation of performance improvement interventions in a systemic and systematic manner, in the form of case studies for completed projects and white papers for performance issues resolved.
